No bubble tips

I bought a rbta about a month and half ago, its already been through a split but it has never had bubble tips. Anyone know why?

I don't think there is conclusive evidence on why or why not they bubble. Some believe that intense MH lighting will cause them to bubble.

Mine bubbled more when i had less lighting. I have a 250mh on a 45 gal tank and I rarely see bubbles.
In fact, the only time im seeing any bubbles are the day after i do a water change, and occasionally after a feeding.

theres alot of threads on this in the past, and the conclusion is.. no one can come up with a conclusion. just seems they lose theyre bubbles in a tank enviorment most of the time

Were mine receives max exposure to my MH, it bubbles a little.

i've read that with age, they loose the bubble.
