NO Flourescent F40 v. FR40 T12

What's the difference? I have a 175w x 2 MH with 40w x 2 NO Flourescents. I just replaced the NO bulbs with Coralife T12's I ordered. The new bulbs don't work with my ballast it seems and the only difference is these new bulbs say FR40 instead of just F40. It took me replacing the ballast (twice) and all endcaps (twice) as well as running a voltmeter over overy line before I found this clue.

Anyone know bulbs?

you sure you didnt put VHO bulbs in there?

I didn't order VHO bulbs. I've never owned VHO bulbs. Are VHO bulbs FR40 T12 40W? I don't think they are.

Thought the R meant it has an internal reflector. VHO bulbs wouldnt be marked like that.
