Thought I would share some pics of my first attempt at a SW system.
I finished plumbing last night and everything is ready to go and no leaks!
The DT is on top, the sump on the left, and the refugium in the cabinet.
The water flows from the DT to the sump through a custom overflow box I made where the water is aerated. The sump will house my protein skimmer and will be baffled. The water then overflows into the refugium where it gently gets pumped back up into the DT.
I'm going to make the inlet for the fuge below the water surface to help ease the creation of bubbles, but everything so far looks like it's going to work.
The pump/skimmer will be here tomorrow so I know I'm going to have a fun day tomorrow getting it all running.
