No More Zoa"s

Well that's it!!! I will never buy another zoa! I have been fighting nudi's on and off for months. Just when I think I have them killed I find another. I have followed all the advise on FW dips with Luguls. Picked the eggs off. Distroyed the aquascaping so many times it's not funny. Have lost lots of zoa's not to mention $$$$ stupid nudi's seem to eat the most expensive one's first. I am just so sick of using a med dropper to suck out the nudi's I see, FW dipping, tweezing off eggs. I am now ready to let the nudi's eat all the zoanthid's and hopefully they will die when there are no more zoa's left.:mad2:

No, the tank that most of my zoa's are in is a nano 12 gal. the zoa's were all I had in there. Lots of them in the begining I wanted this to be all zoanthids. Mostly rare and expensive ones. As I said I have become so frustrated that I am finished with the zoanthids. Had a sixline in the tank at one time with no luck. Moved him to another tank because some of my reading were going whacky because of all the FW dipping. The FW dipping would cause problems because almost all of the rock in this tank is (was) covered in zoa's. Now the tank is fishless. I have some GSP and xenia and kenya. Almost all of the zoa's are now gone. This battle has been raging on and off for 6 months atleast. I have not seen as many nudi's but it's been at the expense of almost all of my zoas.
Thanks for your response I don't think there is much else I could have or can do. I just needed to vent.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. Your situation can be frustrating for any under same circumstances. I'd advise don't give up yet. Get a 10 gallon tank, leave it bare bottom and put all your zoos in here for further treatments. Leave them there for quiet some times until we can be sure the nudies in your 12gl have vanished.

get a yellow tail damsel

its a little unknown fact that these fish eat nudi's fir this to work you must not feed the fish

get two or three and let them be, this has been used for quite some time in the propiation side of the hobby

Yep, I am almost there.....I am fighting the eternal war too. Just when I think I got 'em all, like after a month of not seeing any, here it is, the mother of nudis, big and fat munching away. And egg swirls galore are usually not far away.

I tried the Seagrass Wrasse and it tore my tank apart to the point I had to return him to the LFS.
