This thing grows a soft, smooth pink skin over the rock its attached to, and now over the substrate around it. When it's closed up it's just a smooth pink flesh with marks where the polyps come out. When open its got long soft pink polyps that exend out and wave in the current. its also recently started putting out some longer, almost transparent sweepers that have managed to wipe out some button polyps that were next to it. I can't find anyone who knows what it is.
In this picture it had just been irritated by a coral banded shrimp running across the top of it, so the polyps are slightly curled up .
The bottom left of the coral there is what it looks like when fully closed up. Anyone able to help identify?
