NO3:PO4-X, is there any side effect?

I would like to switch to RED SEA NO3O4-X

I saw good reviews about this one. Reefers, who are using this, please give me the advices. Is there any side effect?

The same side effects if you used any kind of carbon dosing like vodka or vinegar. If you dosed to much to fast you can create a bacterial bloom which could deplete the oxygen in the tank. Their chart on dosing recommendation seems reasonable.

Cyano is common with all carbon dosing. Nothing different than any other carbon dosing. I love using NoPox.

+1 love my no px only side effect I've had is super low nitrates, so be careful not to dose too much

Bacteria good or bad can feed on the carbon source.

And yes you can have nitrates to low. I personally target between 2 and 5. Phosphates I like between .02-.08ppm.

I use it in my Nano an love it. Although it is very easy to overdose. Less is more! On my large tank I run ZeoVit. It's a more advanced dosing method. The results I receive with Zeo are unbelievable compared to anything else. Red Sea is great. I'll use that until I run out, then, convert the Nano to Zeo.

I know Zeovit and used to run this with Alexander's help from Zeovit forum. But I'm from Vietnam, where has just few reefers, LFSs. I had to order from oversea and somtimes out of stock. Finally, I had to switch to PO4X4 and biopellet
