I have chaeto in my sump. Will this NoPox effect it negatively? I am getting some hair algae on the rocks and wanted to take care of it now before it gets out of hand.

I am going to try Vibrant which heard good results from. What is your PO4 and NO3 measuring at?

Nopox is a carbon source intended to feed and increase bacterial populations which will in turn lower nitrates and have a minor impact on phosphate levels...
While that can help have some impact on algae problems long term its certainly not a product that will usually have a direct/drastic or quick effect on minor hair algae growth.. It can take weeks or more to even start working to lower nutrient levels and can take months to have a large effect on nutrient levels..

Products like Reef Flux are more targeted at that problem.

What are your nitrate and phosphate levels?.
