nocturnal snail id

Hi all, I happened to be standing next to my pico when the lights came on and saw my tank covered in small white snails. They were everywhere, rock, glass, you name it. I tried to take a pic, but you couldn't see them. They are about the half to one fourth the size of a pencil eraser. Any ideas or helpful links?

You have to give a better description on what the shell looked like was it smooth, jagged, anything?
