noisy nanostream

hi roger,
i just got my 2nd nanostream 6025 (i love these pheads!) and hooked it up yesterday. this morning when i came into the fish room its really loud. turns out its the new nanostream.

have you come accross this before?

the pump is still working , going correct way etc but man is it noisy. the other one i have runs perfectly.

i dont know if it makes any difference but the new one came in a darker blue glossy box....where as the first one came in a light blue matt box.

I've also 2 of the 6025 and they were also more and less noisy to begin with. After 2 weeks the other is really silent and the other is also considerable more silent than before so just give them some time and they'll get quiet.

I agree with Lugonn, I might give it some time. If it continues to be loud in a few days you should send it in for replacement.
