I've been running my vortech for the past 4 days and the dry end is quite noisy even when it is at the lowest setting. I double checked the alignment and the pin spacer and everything is set correctly. I took the vortech off the tank and ran just the dry end to make sure the sound was coming from that source and it was. I was told it should run quiet if it is set below the half way point. Another problem I'm having is that when the pump is ramped up to the max gph and set in pulse mode it starts to "stutter" and the pulsing action is not consistent. Is there something wrong with the dry end of the pump?
