is there a putty out there that isnt completely permanent? i have a rock wall and will be moving within the next year and do not want to permanently glue corals in. any suggestions?
Epoxy putty isn't really an adhesive and the bond is easily broken. That's esp true for LPS corals. SPS can encrust at the base and they're essentially glueing themselves to the rock. Soft corals also attach themselves.
Best bet is to try to keep colonies attached to smaller removable rocks.
I agree, the epoxy putty is very easy to remove at a later date, it's the SPS corals that are difficult to get off without just breaking them at the base.
