noob lighting question

im fairly new to the whole "reef" thing and i never really cared about lighting until now but i think i need to replace my MH bulb. I have a 175 watt ballast (i think or 150 watt) ... im not sure as to what K rating i should use... i am keeping mostly softies and have 2 9" actinic pc bulbs that go into the pendant as well... if anyone has any idea as to what K rating i should go as well as brand that would be a big help. BTW its standard mogul base

I use T5s, but I know people usually choose either 10000 or 20000. Supposedly 20000 is more blue, but I think it's a matter of personal taste. 10000k users say that corals MAY grow faster under those bulbs.
