Noob Seahorse question

Do seahorses create a large bioload?

And has anyone tried keeping a seahorse with clownfish? Do they get along?

I was thinking about setting up a 10g tank w/ high light and med flow with 2 true percula clownfish and 1 dwarf seahorse.

Will this work or is it a bad idea?

Sorry, but that is a bad idea. THe dwarf will not live with the clowns. Many people including myself have had problems with clowns and larger (8" plus) seahorses.

Dwarf seahorses require avery special tank setup and are very restricted on tankmates.

I think the 10g with the clowns sounds fun. Stick with that.

Well, if you get rid of the clowns, you could easily have over a dozen dwarves. (in a 10G, many people have kept over 40) Dwarves would be quite comfortable in a 10G specifically devoted to them. Feel free to ask anymore questions.

If this was the plan you'd have to change the flow and would not need the strong light either.
