Noobie here

Just started this weekend Added live and dry rock yesterday. Thanks to Lee and Michelle for the 4 store tour yesterday learned a lot and cant wait to start building. I looking for a slump for my tank but the room I have is only 19X11.25X26.50. Does any one have one that small???

Best bet would be to purchase a 10 or 15 gallon standard rectangular tank and add baffles or a custom made sump.

Best advice I believe is to buy Quality equipment first time around. Youtube DIY projects is a good place to refer to if you run into trouble or want to save a bit of money.

The biggest noob mistake a made was using that $10 crummy salinity refractor when I did my water changes. Constant changes of - too high or too low salinity will be disastrous on your fish and corals. Salt mixes tie together your CA,KH, & MG. So if you have a high salinity, all the 3 essentials will be too high as well.

I have a sump that's 20L x 16T x 8W originally bought for my 75gal but realized I needed a bigger sump so its just taking up space. I only started the hobby about 6mo ago, but with google, the lfs and great advice from this forum I've learned a lot

Yea there's room for a skimmer I have one that came with it.

$50 for just the sump or $75 w/ skimmer and I have a few extra pumps I could throw in as well
