Normal for lineutus wrasses to hide for a few days after intro?

I introduced it to my tank yesterday afternoon, my strawberry pseudo chased after it a bit, and it went hiding. I saw it this morning being out for a little and my psudo went after it again. And the next and last tiem I saw it was this afternoon poping his head out a little. I also have a exquiste and an anthia which left it alone. The pseudo does not pick on these other fish. So is the wrasse hiding since its new to the tank or mainly because of the pseudo? Thanks

Wrasses can be secretive at first. Our pair of lineatus hit for about a day now very social, they are the largest of all our wrasses though so nobody bothers them. Our other smaller fairies also hid breifly but now are very social.

Those strawberry pseudo aka dottybacks are extremely aggressive, I would sell it. I seen them kill fairy wrasses many times. they are extremely territorial.

yeaaa thats what I was thinking too. I need to find a way to catch it. But its so small and fast, do you guys have any suggestion?

Maybe try a fish trap. A trick I used for an agreesive fish once was to put a net into the tank for a while to let the fish get used to it. Then I held a mirror next to the glass an the fish was so fixated on this "intruder" I was able to easily net him out.
