Normal molting behavior?

Carl, my as of yet unidentified smasher has been holed up for the past three days. His burrow has not been blocked off, and when I use a small light to peak in, I can see his curled back. He appears to be on his side, wedged in pretty tight, pretty far down into his burrow.
.
The tank has a healthy supply of detritivores, so if he's passed on, I think I'd see the worms and nassarious reducing him.
Any thoughts? I'm kind of worried about the little guy.

they will normally not come out for a while after molting to give their new shell time to harden. Sounds normal to me.
