The Long Island Reef Association is holding NERAC IV on Saturday March 21st. It's a day long conference with an optional evening banquet. We have several excellent speakers:
Dr. Yehuda Benyahu - Dendronepthya Corals.
Dr. James Cervino - Coral thermal bleaching and diseases, the links between global warming and pollution.
Todd Gardner - Getting cultured: A guide to growing your own plankton.
In addition to the speakers, we also have several vendors that will be present. When it comes to venues for an aquarium conference, this one can not be beat, Atlantis Marine World. If you stay for the banquet, you not only get to eat some of the finest food to be had at such an event (it's actually good food ), but you get to eat in front of a well matured 20,000 gallon reef tank.
March 21st is coming soon, so don't waste time, sign up now.
