Norwegian 140g sps tank

All of your montiporas that u call denea are all the same but different colors and variations I have quite a few myself by far my favorite and easiest to keep.

Thank you. Just let them find out who's the boss, and they will hopefully settle down in a couple of days. You may also try to have a mirror in front of the aquarium, maybe the male blue throat will attack his reflection instead :)

haha I'm a big proponent of the mirror trick too! Really does wonders for new additions. I use it on my purple, yellow, and powder blue! :D

Check out my build if you'd like. It's a 180 gallon. I'm starting to add SPS! :)

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys!

SaltwaterAddict: Can't find your thread, do you have a link? :)

Got a few goodies from a guy who had to close down his tank. These pictures where taken right after dipping and introduction.

Nice looking setup. FYI... your regal looks like a Red Sea because of the yellow belly. Indo and Fiji have a grey belly. I've been reading a lot of about the Regal Angels lately because I want one :-). What all do you feed your Regal Angel?

Thank you Clowndude. Yes I know it's from the Red Sea. I've heard that the Red Sea specimens have a better chance to survive and eat than the other two.

I was very lucky with mine. He took frozen food like mysis and artemia after one day in the tank. After three days it took flake food (Ocean Nutrition Formula One) and after 6 days it took Ocean Nutrition Forumla Two Small pellets. After 7 days it took the Angel Formula Frozen Food (with sponges). I don't feed the formula one anymore. Have changed to Prime Reef Flakes from Ocean Nutrition.

Nice looking Setup cant wait to see how your Soli turns out by far one of my favorite corals. here is mine :p Grew from 1" frag this showing coral at 1yr attained from world wide corals from Vic out of there 300 display there colony is huge!!!

May I ask where you got him from? Did you get him local or online? How is he doing around your sps?

I bought it from my LFS. They import their fish from TMC in the UK. He doesn't touch any of my corals. Neither buttons, sps or lps. Have been very very lucky with my PD.

Thank you! I hope my Soli color up nice. Love tabling Acroporas :)

Thanks Clowndude. Struggled with a little cyano outbreak now for a month or two. But I am finally rid of it now :)

You have a very nice system maskinsmyg. Your corals and fish look great. How do you like your Deltec skimmer compared to others you've used?

Thank you. I am very happy with the Deltec TC skimmer. Compared to the skimmer in my old system (Aqua Medic Percula 90) who mas an Aqua Medic Turboflotor it's like night and day. But the Deltec skimmer is way bigger and more expensive. But it is doing the job that I expected when I ordered it :)

Super clean setup and beautiful pictures.....keep us updated!

Thank you. I'll post some more pictures. These pictures are from the beginning of june.

I've also ordered a new camera (Canon EOS 600D) so I'll try to take some videos in HD in a couple of days :)

This little Squamipinnis is starting to morph in to a male :hmm2:

Here is a FTS. Click on the thumbnail to view a bigger image. It look like a mess now. Haven't glued up all my frags. So there is chaos on the bottom:spin1:.
