jacky`s sps tank

Jacky, your tank looks better every day. wow. Can you please elaborate this about the nutrients and white light intensity? More nutrients more light, less nutrients less etc? thank you

I think the LED light intensity is high, especially white light intensity and nutrition should be proportional , if nutrition is not high the white light too strong will make the SPS color is very pale. My white light the highest strength of 50% in only 1 hours a day, the rest of the time intensity of 30% and 40%. But at any time according to the SPS color to adjust the intensity of light.

Love this tank and your scape jacky! I have also only used BB, flow & skimmer for nutrient control for 6 months with good results, but with siporax instead of LR. Time for a change tho to Zeo (and sand)... your tank almost makes me change my mind!

Thank you ormet! your tank is very beautiful, I like the simple system, I also plan to try the siporax effect.

Thank you sahin. Flame Angel is raising fast 3 years, very like it, but it's very like to bite the red LPS, occasionally bite SPS:headwallblue:

Do you ever use Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) on your tank to polish the water/reduce yellowing?

Thanks.
Do you feel the biodigest is a large contributor to your sucsucces? Have you ever missed a dose? If so did you notice any difference in coloration.

Just started I have used GAC, then abandoned, has now been more than a year have not used, but the water has always been clean.

Thanks.

I think that is a small part of success, occasionally forget dose, but didn't find any different.
