Hey guys. So i have 3 ocelaris in my 40 gal. and a small frag of zoas (around 20). Ive had the small clown for about 2 weeks and 2 juves for a week. They get along really well. Last couple of days i noticed one of the juves sticking her face in the zoas. Dont know if shes biting or not but some of the zoas go back in for a while. Im worried if the e clown may get poisoned if she keeps it up. Is this normal behavior? Thank you.

your clown will be ok.

maybe the zoas are hosting it?

clowns sometimes like to bite stuff. occasionally

It likely isn't biting but rather sucking and licking. My percula did that with green star polyps before they got their anemone, where they also suck and lick on the tentacles.
I think it is to get the slime into their mouth and gills. I suspect either as protection or as cure for parasites.
