Not crypto but... ?

I was at a friends house last night, she has problems in her 125 soft coral reef. She has lost a few very nice fish and would like to save those that remain. I was expecting to see crypto or oodinium but no. There are whitish spots but they are not quite like normal "ick" and they are concentrated on the fishes backs, nothing on the gill covers or pectoral fins. Also there is some turbidity of the skin down the back of a pink skunk clown, almost looking like early stages of brook but I doubt it. These are all long term residents of the tank, no new fish introduced. The tank was recently relocated within the house and this is when all the trouble started. Any thoughts?

sounds like they got stressed out enough to loose there imune system for a little while... I good cleaner goby ( neon ) goby would help, and obviously quarantine with copper...

Very well could be brooklynella. I would probably give the fish a series of formalin dips and maybe treat them in quarantine with hyposalinity.

The clown definately has the "brook look", I didn't get to see any of the advanced cases (ie dead fish).
