Not Eating

I have two clownfish. One , I have had for a while ( 7 months) and she had a mate when we got her but then she killed her mate. Thats not the problem. The problem is I recentley got her a mate (MUCH smaller) and put him in a qurtine (sorry for the spelling) and he would not eat! We tried EVERTHING! Well he diden't have a desise so in an atempet to save him we put him in the main tank. Well, he lived no problem, just we still can't tell if he is eating!!!! It is a problem and we are worried. Just so you know they are both false purcla clowns. Thanks for advice!!

you can observe a fish much better in qt. is he energetic? can you hang out watching him for about 45 minutes after you feed to see if he poops? its a good way to see if he ate, as well as see if he has internal parasites....
