not goin producing

i have gotten a mushroom in my tank and it seems to be just hangin out its not splitting or anything can somebody help me get him to start reproducing? I have a 55 gal with 3 powerheads and a protein skimmer only 65-70 lbs of LR and 120 lbs of LS with a corarlite fixture only bout a month old but cant remember the specs on it i add calcium and some marine snow with DKH buffer
