i know angler fish are a difficult species found him in a lfs in a cricket box inside a 30g tank "kept there because he was hard to show off behind a rock" i knew better when i bought it but i kind of felt "he will be far better of in my reef" i have a very large supply of live shrimp fire and cleaner (he has eaten and is welcome to)i have also fed ghost shrimp / guppies twice a week (i put about 15-20 in when i do small shark to feed also) i have seen him eat twice in the last two weeks (i figured he was eating when i was watching) i have had him almost a month, he has never been a very aggresive fish always very slow and would stalk the shrimp constantly. i actually feel as though he was "slow" twice i have seen him (not recently) come up into the middle of the tank and just drift in the current of the return. my thought is that he may have been a cyanide caught fish does anyone have a link to (how to identify signs of this?) also i recently "moved" from a 250 pennisula to my current 365 i have about 290 or 320 lbs of LR in my dt i have had for well over a year. after the move i lost a tang to ich i was very worried for my other fish but they seem to have come out of it fairly well until now. i saw no signs of ich in my angler no fidgity action no "scratching" or cysts..... so i am still thinking damaged from cyanide what do you guys think? i am working my alk and cal up i know thats a little low
