Ive seen these in my tank for awhile now and im not sure what they are. I was kinda thinking maybe nemotodes. They are white worm looking things. Are they reef safe. They dont seem to both my duncan coral and they do seem to be multipuling. Any help would be nice thank you very much.

Do they have small black bands on them? If so they might be miniature brittle stars. (harmless) If not, spaghetti worms is another possibility. (also harmless)

no they are all white. i tried to pull them out they seem to go back into the rock. ive also seen them getting sand and kinda like building a tunnel at the bottom of the rock. Ive one every seen them getting leftover food from the bottom or when it floats around. I know what the brittle stars are i have 2 of them that came in on my star polypos.

Looks like the white tube worms that I have on my live rock as well. I have seen several of them go down into the sand bed and pull sand up to a point making a little hill out of it. They collect sand and use it to build a tube to live in. Haven't seen them be an issue.

I looked at both those links and i think its Phyllochaetopterus sp. they look like it and sometime have 2 of them coming out of one tube. but these are also on the rock and ive seen them pull sand to build like a sand tube. if these are it how does one remove them. they are on one rock not all of the rock? They dont bother me to look at. If there going to help my tank stay clean or cleaner then i will let them go. That link says they can be a pain to remove and and cut off good stuff from the sand.?

thank you mcgyvr for that link best link ive seen so far going to save that. As i am very very new about 4 month or so into this hobby.
