Not sure what to make of this

I have basically observed her scratch the sand 1 or 2 times a day for the past 3 days. So its definitely not frequent, but I went from never seeing her do it in 5 months, to 3 (or 4) days in a row. I actually just saw her do a small scratch as I was writing this.

In terms of quarantine, the firefish I added 3-4 weeks ago was the first fish I quarantined. A 5.5 gallon barebottom uncycled tank with a hob filter. Just did 4 weeks of observation, no prophylactic treatments of any kind.

I see some of my clowns scratching way more often but can't see the slightest hint of any kind of infection on them. They may just feel itchy.

Sometimes the best course of action is to simply observe, but be prepared to treat if symptoms warrant.

This is what I'm struggling with though. I would love to be prepared to treat if necessary, I'm just not sure what I should keep on hand. Right now the only medication I own is a bottle of prazipro. I add vitamins to their frozen food daily. What other staple items does everyone tend to have around?

Should I get some Kanamycin and/or some Seachem Stressguard? They seem like 2 things that could potentially be of use if this worsens. Just trying to learn and be proactive.

* Copper, ideally cupramine - plus the Seachem test kit for copper although I recommend tank transfer as a far better alternative for ich and CP as the preferred treatment for velvet
* Chloroquine phosphate for treatment of velvet (pure form)
* Praziquantel - for flukes and worms
* nitrofurazone - for open wounds or sores
* Metronidazole - for intestinal and other protozoa
* Formalin - for brook, uronema and other external parasites
* Erythromycin and Minocycline - for bacterial prevention/treatment
* kanamycin an anti-bacterial med that is very effective and gentle on fish.

* Food enhancers such as Selcon, Vitality,

Great. Thanks. One question about the vitamins. I've been using Vitality. Is Selcon essentially the same thing or are they different and I should have both and alternate?
