hi yall i dont have a cam so i have to discribe it to you i have these 2 1/2 in stem looking things they look like tube worms there white from the bottom and half way up they turn yellow and they have duster like tops but they dont retrack like tube worms. just wondering what they are and if i shoud remove them thanks for your input

Sound like small tube worms are you sure they don't retract? Even if you touch them? Otherwise, really need a photo..
