Notice to Slash Members

I wanted to inform everyone I have chosen to resign as Secretary. The numerous changes in my life recently have begun to consume more time from my life than I thought would be possible. I was wrong. I don't have the needed time to devote to the business of helping to run this wonderful club and I felt it was unfair to the Board members who have already devoted so much of themselves. This was purely my decision and I felt it was the right thing to do.

This club is growing faster than I could have dreamed and the Board deserves better than I have been able to give recently. I will still be active in the club and will attend all events possible.

Jack, thanks for all you did for the club! I am saddened to see you leave the board of director's, but glad you have something that is making your life richer! Best wishes to you and I look forward to seeing you at events.

Thanks for all the well wishes...I am still here, will help when I can but plan on being very busy for a very long time. This hobby and the people in it are all family to me.

Wouldn't being secretary imply a certain level of spelling and grammar ability? Or is it just a note takers position?

What does the job entail, before we think about who to nominate...
