The speaker for the November 17th, 2006 MARS meeting will be Adelaide Rhodes who will be speaking on "Plankton for the Home Aquarist".

Originally, Sanjay Joshi was our scheduled speaker; however, due to a scheduling conflict, he is unable to attend. He will be a guest speaker in 2007, and the date will be announced later.

We will also be doing a group buy of Adelaide's copepods so if you are interested, I will post a thread and you can indicate your interest.

Nominations for MARS Board of Directors and governers will be presented at the November meeting. If more than one person is nominated for a position, voting will be done at the December meeting.

Adelaide is one of the rare people in this industry that truly cares about the hobby and not making a big profit. I am looming forward to her talk. I spoke with her today and she will be bringing lots of copepods for anyone that wants to buy them. Remember, the recommended dosage is one bottle per 50 gallons. If you have not added any in the past six months, it's a good idea to do it.
