I thought I was finally going to be able to make a meeting this time but I will be away that weekend :( I'm gonna try my best to get to the December meeting I guess. I need to get some new SPS frags. There was a fire in my building last Sunday and my tank didnt have power for about 5 days. Amazingly my fish lived with nothing but a battery bubbler going that whole time. But my little SPS island is sad now.

Gonna give it a while before I give up on any of these pieces but they have shed most if not all of their tissue.

Nick,

That is terrible to hear. Those look like they were doing well. I can hook ya up with some replacement frags.

I'm going to try and make it down. Thinking of taking the plunge and do a reef tank. Currently have two african tanks and have always wanted a salt tank. I've been reading all night......lots of good info.

That would be cool. I myself had Malawi Cichlid tank before I went salt. Hope to see you there.

I went an check out Exotic Aquatics yesterday after work. The place is tiny but its nice and it sounds like they are planning on doing some cool stuff there. It's also nice that is about 3 minutes from my office.

I am going to try and make it either the 30th or the November meeting. Excited to find a club with meetings in this part of the state.

wow, I can't catch a break...
Same here, but different reason. It's mid-November, yet the weather is spectacular, 60 degrees, sunny, leaves still on many of the trees. At times like these the spouse gets wanderlust for weekend adventures. So I don't know WHERE I'm going. But the fact THAT I'm going is a given. I hate to miss the meeting, but domestic tranquility demands it. ;)

Have fun. Give the shop owners my regards, and thanks for hosting the meeting. :)

PS - I'm having tissue recession on some of my SPS, and really wanted to talk to someone about it too. That's why these meetings are great...
