Kinda stinks not being able to edit a poll so I guess post a number. Theres alot of factors going into what were gonna make, and I think time will be the biggest . We need to get the money for the project at next meeting, then drive to columbus to buy materials, then prep them all in a months time. the poll is to get a idea as to what the club wants to do.
The next thread will be for price and how many people will like to do it.
Thanks
Erik
PS kevin When you star your thread someday on the spectra pure group buy, enjoy being the police there lol

The choice is made, so the games can stop. I'll have a price worked up for the Fuildize/phosoaban reactor in the next day or so. This will be a 18 inch tall body 4 inch wide tube so its nothing like the 30 dollar one.
Thanks for your input
Erik

The choice is made.
Erik

Glad things are solidified. Can't wait for more information on this. The club needed more DIY in my opinion. Thanks again to all involved for your work on the project.

sch 40 coupling 1 1/4" slip x slip 429012

So there will be plent of fun diy putting together. And its something that most club members don't have too. Actually I don't no any with a 4' media reactor.
C-sa will supply all parts need to make this unit once a price is forumlated we will post that and payment will be due at this months meeting.
This reactor will not come with a pump due to different media needs different flow rates, i.e. phosoban needs slower movement due to finer particles vs carbon. So this workshop will be the cheapest of the 3 to do also. :)

Can I do 2-3 kits

Pete,
I was thinking the same thing.. If you have a carbon reactor it would be nice to have matching reactors for other media.

Yeah, this workshop isn't to get a product its to learn how to do the work on it and be able to use what you learn to make your own stuff later. I'll talk with the board membes about multiple units but my guess is no.
But again kevins idea of one for each is a good idea, I think you'd still have to use 2 pumps for the 2 different types of media though.
