Come one Come All

The November meeting shall commence on the 29th day of November at 7pm.

The topic at hand will be: Digital Imagery and Photoshop. Presented by our very own Jason Hollback.

Also at the meeting members will have the duty of choosing (voting for) the Officers for the upcoming year.

If you haven't gotten your nominations in please do so promptly.

I'll be there. Jason is killer with photoshop. I use it allot at work and hope to learn some cool stuff. ;)

I'll be there! I have photoshop and I have a guitar -- that's all I'll claim for either one :-) Jason's pictures are awesome, so I'm sure that he will be able to show us a lot of good techniques.

Suggestion as I don't know what all is planned. We all know Jason is VERY proficient in Photoshop, but it's also a VERY expensive package. There are many alternatives out there (open source free GIMP) for example that are very close to Photoshop. Although a Photoshop lesson would be outstanding for those of us that have it, it would be probably more helpful to demonstrate something that everyone can get their hands on (like free GIMP for example).

Just a thought as I don't know what all is planned.

I plan on attending and I have Photoshop 5.5 (Old version, but it costs too much to upgrade).
I enjoy using Macro mode on my Digital camera too.

Eric,
This is a great idea but unfortunately I have no experience outside of Photoshop. That being said, that basics of what we will discuss at the meeting should be generic enough to be applied to any type of photo editing software. I will however also discuss tools that only apply to Photoshop.

 Sounds like a plan. Maybe we could whip up a tutorial or something afterwards with a common software package or two. Just a thought.
