November Tank Video - LOTSA FISH!

how long have you had all the tangs together? we have a sailfin and a powder brown in our 215, and it is all I can do to convince the other half that you can't put anymore in there or bad things will happen...now I have to make sure he doesn't see your video!

They've been there over a year. Honestly I think most will agree if you have more fish there is less aggression, they all eat better as well it seems. Feeding time in my tank is CHAOS. They go nuts over food. The downside to having this many fish is more maintenance is required. More water changes, etc. Don't get me wrong, there was some squabbles when new ones were added, but that went away and they're all buddies now.

right now in our 215 we've got the 2 tangs, juv. emporer angel (he runs the joint), bi-color angel, porcupine puffer, foxface, leopard wrasse, racoon butterfly. the porc and the foxface are the only fish that are "adult size" if you will. Everyone has been together from the get go, with the exception of the angels, which were added later (all the fish were in our 75, the angels were in our reef...I know, an emporer in a reef, my hammer coral paid a heavy price). The powder brown tried to bully the bi-color, but the emporer put a stop to that real quick. I must say your tank is gorgeous and quite an inspiration!

Thanks all. I don't really care for my rockwork, but it gives all the fish a place to call home. Seems like all of them have a place to sleep at night cause they all disappear into the rockwork, even the two big vlamingii's. I'd like to eventually make some tall pillars in my tank with acrylic rods to open it up more.
