hi folks,
just thought to give some heads up on Pets Warehouse has now decided to sell frags.
they have some guy that knows what he's doing put everything on disks & plugs. although most other places had been doing these for a long time, glad to see it has caught on more & more. Hopefully we will soon be buying coral spores for $1 a bottle to sprinkle in cycled tanks :lol:

The whole reef system had a face lift it looks really good.

I saw over 100 frags.

There is new cube system being setup, when I was there they were busy so I did get a chance to ask what's going on with the cubes.

Anyone know?

I wrote that place off for livestock especially corals. Anything they had was brown and looked crappy.

I stopped their last week and was REALLY impressed with the makeover. I love the frag tank!

There very competitive, AH & PW have the better prices.

5 frags are $100

They do offer a low price guarantee on supplies ordered online.

I do this and pickup at the store that way no shipping.

Good guys! Their prices are fair IMO Right in the middle of LFS stores on LI. I went there about a year ago and the Live rock was way out of my price range. When I picked up my tank this Friday, I noticed a 2.50 change in price!


The quality has gone way up the people know what they are doing and I think they are headed in the right direction.

IMO they need more flow and more light to keep their sps frags up to par, other than that things are looking better, some nice ORA frags as well

price are like $25/frag. A bit steep compared to similar size frags at Mutts & Butts, plus ORA frags are more frequent. but definitely a stride towards the right direction

Don't forger, they give a 10% LIRA discount! I recently purchase a 180 gallon tank, stand, pump, sand etc. all of which Brad discounted 10% because I am a LIRA member. That discount in itself should cover my LIRA dues for the the next 10 + years!
