I posted about a small brown hairy crab that I had spotted in a hole in my LR a few days ago. His hole is right next to a ricordea polyp that has been looking kind of puny lately. The crab could not have been bigger than a dime. So today I pull the rock and flushed the hole with hot ro water as advised. I did this 3 times and no crab. I know that he was in there because I saw him as I was pulling the rock. Well as a last resort I stuck a pair of tweezers down in the hole and poked around good. still nothing. After placing the LR back in the display within a minute or 2 a large hermit ran up the rock and is digging in the hole. Guess I got him huh? Now I feel kind of bad for killing him. My plan was to place him in my fuge.
Now I feel bad!
