Alright first problem
stn already on day 7 (only on staghorn)
how to balance out my tank para = i have uped my water changes
hopefully this will stabalize my tank?

Carbon dosing IME is a fine line between starving corals and a great tank. I had bad results with vodka and MB7. Thought about doing the bio pellets but its just not worth it IMO, not when GFO and water changes work so well.

very true but i have anthias (and a heavily stocked tank)
so i have to feed alot, i have found that gfo and water changes aren't enough (im at a fine line between starving my fish and beautiful colors in my corals.) so i wanted to try this method so i could have colors and feed my fish heavily

in a lightly stocked tank i could see gfo and water changes being cheaper and easier than biopellets (it just an't working for me)

its been a month now im running my bio-pellets along with phospate plus a bag of carbon in my sump, i can't tell if this works for my tank a few of my sps starting to bleached out others seems doing ok showing a sign of color its comming back. now im worried some of sps colony might ended up bleaching out. should i keep those 3 in my sump or just leave the gfo only & removed the np pellets, because as far i know this might be the reason of loosing some of my sps colony since i'd run this in my sump.

1) lost two aussie clowns (black and white)
2) skimmer needed a good cleaning (lost porformance ) minor cyano outbreak but gone now

increase your feeding (if all other test are normal)
pellets tend to strip nutrients out of our tank (too much)
causing to clean of a tank
i have anthias so i have to feed alot but to keep some nutrients in your tank you do need to up your feedings, plus your fish will love you for it and your corals:bounce3:

some nitrates and phos are required just not high ones
id say 0.02 nitrates and 0.03 on phosphates
i would play with gfo and feeding to try and find a balance of some where in that range
that you are comfortable with
