I found this guy in my micron sock filter. I thought it was food or a dead coral, but to my surprise it's a xenia looking Nudi. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Some type of aeolid...they specialize in eat specific corals. If you found it in your xenia, then it would more than likely be a xenia eater.

Yeah...I went on a business trip and when I came back my Bali xenia was gone. It never looked normal and now I understand why. The gills up top look like xenia polyps, and most coral eating Nudis I see are diguised like the corals they eat. Either way, I flushed it..

Yeah they suck, haha, I got back from a business trip to find nudi's munching on hundreds of $ worth of monti's, evil little boogers. Good luck dealing with them.

Well, fortunately, the Bali seems to be the only one getting eaten. One of my goldbacks wasn't looking so hot, but a dip in Lugol's solution perked it right back up. All my other xenias are looking healthy. I always wondered why my Bali was the only one that wasn't growing, and now I know why.

Here's the thing. I've never had aptasia in my tank. Never a sign. I was careful when buying my live rock, I made sure I didn't have ones with aptasia. I know some of you may now be saying "uh duh..you had an aptasia eating nudi!!" But I seriously doubt that, I don't think a single aptasia could have slipped my vision, esp in such a small tank. Plus I've had these rocks for at least 2 yrs by now. I still believe this is why my Bali xenia wasn't thriving and also explains the jizzing incident w/ my Xenia, it was this Nudi pooping.
