Nudibranch? ID Please.

Is this guy reef safe. He is very small about 2-3mm.

Right now the nudibranch is on the class. If anyone thinks its bad let me know since I haven't caught him yet.

just my guess looks like a zoanthid predator nudi.. but an expert should chime in soon.

If that is the case it may explain my recent difficulty. For the first time I was trying zoanthids. I bought them from a reputable online website, but they looked like they were getting nibbled. The fringes(tentacles) around the disk looked like they were getting nibbled. All the polyps eventually closed up and died. This is just a theory since I don't have any experience with them. I did not see the fungus, or white spots like so many others have stated.

Without zoas with this guy die or will he eat other corals?

Well assuming it is the zoanthid predator, it will die without zoanthids. They can't switch foods.

I think I have found a picture of it.

According to reefpedia it is a montipora eating nudibranch.

Anyone agree?

It's hard to tell much of anything from your pics. Most of the small aeolids look similar and the easiest way to tell them apart is to catch them on their food. The Montipora predators have a bulge in their cerata (the tentacles on their backs) though, that will distinguish them from most other aeolids in the hobby.
