maybe a zoo eatting nudi

hard to tell from the pic

maybe see if you can see egg sacks on or around your zoos

there is some blackish purple bubble thing in between a few zoos, about the size of a pencil eraser but round like bubble algae.

I might have killed it i was trying to pull it out into a cup and i may have squeezed it too hard. i dropped and couldnt find it again.

And now that i think about it, the tank the zoos came out of was the tank with all the PBT's that just got over ick, which means there was probably ick still in the water column which means the emerald crabs that hitchhiked home probably have ick which means my display now has ick. Can ick be carried on zoas/ crabs? My nassarius snail in my QT tank that has the sick tang now has white spots on his soft tissue, so i would think ick could infect zoas or crabs..

ick is caused from stress

i suggest that you treat any coral you buy no matter where you buy it from

just so that you know, not everyone is treating for everything

just know that you have to protect your tank in the long run so keep learning there is a pest for everything in the ocean (some are more common than others)(i have got the nudis from just about every store in town so you arent being singled out)(I went to a show in rockford and someone vending gave them out to the locals so dont feel like you were being singled out)

what kind of tang? I had a powder blue tang that had ick the 8 month I had him till I traded him in (1 day ick, than not, than ick, than not) some fish just get it and some don't

please don't be one of the people that gets a fish with ick and puts it in a 10gallon when the fish is 8 inches long and kills it (i have seen this first hand)

fish are always a gamble

Everything in this hobby is a gamble...protect yourself whenever possible. But also remember if it was easy it wouldn't be any fun.

Its a 2-3" unicorn. I just did the dip that Chelsea recommended to reggaefish and boy did it kill some stuff that i couldnt even see on that rock. Big pods little pods, maybe some tiny nudi's (they were so small i couldnt tell). I found the crabs, they have some white stuff on the hair on their legs but i dont know if its ick or not. I guess im not going to acclimate corals and inverts anymore im just going to fw dip them. Oh well i guess its nothing that cant be fixed.

Most inverts like crabs and shrimp do not get ick. I'm not sure about a cuke, snail I've never heard of getting ick either. Ick mainly is a fish disease not an invert. If I happen to be wrong I'm sure someone will correct me. (I don't think I am though) :)

Ok after some googling, snails and crabs dont get ick. so i hope i am ok. the nudi's wont be much of an issue to deal with as there is basically nothing in the tank.
