nudibranchs in the overflow!!!!!

Simple question: How do I keep them out?

They seem to want to go there. They never seem to get into the intakes of the power heads.

Certainly I could use finer mesh which would prevent them from going in, but then the mesh would clog up easier and the tank would overhow!

Help!

The bigger issue is what kind of nudibranchs do you have? Most are unsuitable for the aquarium and when they die they take half the tank with it! I wouldn't want you to lose all your livestock!

They are lettuce nudibranchs and seemed happy moving over rock and glass in search of algae. There are of course currents of water moving toward the overflow, and that's normal. I just can't figure out how to keep the nudis out.

Lettuce nutibranchs use the chlorophyll from the bryopsis plants they eat to become photosyntheteic. I have two that only stay where its light. If you hide the overflow and powerhead intakes with Live rock or make the area around them dark with anything they will most likely stay out.
