Nuisances in my tank?

Nuisance #1: Little spots on this acro that are moving around like on top of a film. doesnt seem to be bothering the coral (yet). just noticed them. in the picture you can see little spots on the bottom right. any thoughts.

Nuisance #2: pink polyps that are growing like crazy, (not the pink HA in the top right) should i try to get rid of them, if so, how? if not, does anybody want some ?

also, i bought some mexican turbos from EBAY last thursday and they are loving my pink cotton candy looking hair algae. they also like seaweed sheets that i feed my tangs everyonce in awhile.

Look like red bugs to me. Get some Interceptor and it will kill them. Remove as many of your crabs and shrimp as you can before you use it though. When I had to dose mine I made it double strength and did it three times. No sign of them now.

Yup that's redbugs alright I think quite a few club members have had them lately. Search interecptor treatment and it will give you a step by step how to. And like rhett said do a double dose it wont hurt anything but snails and crabs and of course redbugs.

Don't you have a 6-Line wrasse and an 8-Line wrasse? I believe they eat flat worms, don't they?

i have a 4-line but the arent flat worms, red bugs are a little different....

i'll take some of the pink polyps from ya if
1. we can meet up somewhere
2. if coral rx would work to dip them in so i dont get red bugs

You need Interceptor for Red Bugs, That will kill them for sure. The RX says it's for RB but i just do not believe that.

well if rx cant help the corals if i got them then if i can get some of that interceptor with thos pink polyps then it's a go but i dont see a reason to go buy that stuff to just get pink polyps....but if ya willing ta get me some of that i'd be willing to take it off ya hands

Agree with bill only interceptor. I had them over a year ago. That was the only and easy way to kill them. And one of the easiest pest to deal with. IMO

I doubt the Red Bugs are interested in those Paylays and would be suprised if there were any on them. Red Bugs are a Coral Eater,SPS in specefic not LPS or Zoos/Paylays JMO
