Nuking a Tank.... How?

If you really want to nuke the tank, couldn't you just drain it and refill it with RO/DI and let it sit for a week or two with your pumps and powerheads running?

Not a bad idea but I suspect Aiptasia would survive in fresh water. Perhaps the other way and bump the salt up to super saturated.
