Number of fish in QT for TT

I plan on buying a pair of clowns and one blue reef chromis as my first fish. I plan on doing the TT method with a 10 and a 20 gallon tank and then moving them into an established 29 gallon tank for 4 weeks, to treat with prazipro and observe.

Could I buy all 3 fish at the same time, and run them through the TT together? I was just wondering if this would be an issue with aggression between the 3 during the process, or if I should stick to 2 fish at a time.

i use 10 and 20g also....i have 10 small chromis in now with no problems. however, when i do large fish, only one at a time (ie tangs). i also do a wc while in TT. imo, you will be fine with 3 small fish.

This morning I finished TT on 2 tanks, both 10 gallon plastic, clear tubs.

One tank had 3 cardinals, yellow wrasse, and a midas blenny.
Second tank had a Powder Blue tang, kole tang, and solor fairy wrasse.

I don't feed first day, VERY light second day, little more on 3rd, and heavy on 4th. Never lost a fish during TT this way.

curious, why heavy on the 4th day? wouldn't that be the first day of a new transfer? typically i see people, including myself, feeding heavy on each 3rd day since they will be moving to new water the next morning anyway.

Yes, that's what I meant. Heavy the night before transfer. I don't feed the day I transfer.

On a side not I wouldn't get the chromis, they have horrible survival rates long term and are very goldfish like if you will. I had 25 a little over a yr ago and got rid of 9 six months ago. There are countless others on here with the same experience. One will be ok but it is a very bland fish for a DT, but to each their own!

I don't disagree, but funny that of all my expensive fish my wife's favorite is the Chromis, the cheapest of all... To each their own indeed :)
