I meant to post these a long time ago, but must have forgotten. When I found out my wife was pregnant, I went out of bought some supplies almost immediately and came up with a design for the nursery.
Some of the stuff was done using stencils, but I did hand paint a number of the fish that I absolutely wanted to include (Humu, four spot butterfly, raccoon butterfly, etc.). ~26 hours of painting later, the final product is as you see below:
My daughter's only one, so she's too young to really appreciate this, but I'm hopeful that one day she will. I mean, what kind of kid wouldn't want a room that was basically an underwater adventure?
P.S. Ignore the actual photo quality. These were all on a P&S with zero post processing done.
