Nutrient to Alk levels correspondence

Okay, let's get it out of the way: still kinda feelin' like the stupid new guy. But I'm getting better. A little STN lately but no major losses that I recall.

I'm still trying to pin down what my lights are putting out but my chemical stability is a lot better. I'm seeing consistent daily drops in my alkalinity (after an unintentional spike a week or so ago I'm letting it drop on its own for now) and my Ca/ Mg/ NO3/ PO4 levels have been really, really solid for a while now; normally I'm within testing noise ranges for variation. The difficult part of researching it is that I see a lot of variation in where everyone is running their alk and nutrient levels. Everyone seems to be in agreement for the major ions except for their carbonate and nutrient levels.

My nutrients are a touch high IMHO, however, I'm working on it. So to help me pin down a target value, 1) what do you run/ target your alk at, and 2) what do you run/ target your NO3/PO4 values at?

Dang that's right about where I'm at and what I've noticed my tank seems to do best at, at least til that unintentional alk spike ran me up to the 9s last week. Good to know.

That's one, anyone else?
