Nuvo 40 Gallon SPS Build

The IM reactor has a removable compartment that makes it very easy to remove and shake-agitate the mulm off the stones.

The tank has been setup for roughly six months now and I'm starting to get some really great growth with my SPS the last couple months.

Thanks! I was thinking of making my own, but now I might just get the IM reactor. My tank is on day 16th of zeovit. Still haven't put any livestock in. I want to quarantine everything first, so it will still be a while before getting my first coral in. But I am excited to see the results.

I love writing IM 40, hahaha, anyways I too have an IM 40 and currently have two clown fish. Im thinking about getting a yellow wrasse and a midas blenny and maybe a shrimp.

I have a question for you other IM owners though. Is it normal to get algae in the sump? My light is a kessil and it shines into the sump as well as the tank and the tank gets no algae probably due to my CUC, but I noticed the sump has algae in all four chambers hanging on the sides a bit, not bad but it is there ...

Here are some pictures after our move and a few new additions.

Thank you! The clowns have paired up, I tried unsuccessfully in past tanks but the key for these two was adding them at the same time.
