Ny reason why these shrimp would be bad for puffer

I bought these shrimp last night at shop rite to feed my puffer, as the lfs won't be open until Thursday and that's where I normally buy the omega one whole alaskan shrimp from.

I gave him 2 of these shrimp last night and today he is acting very strange.
Normally he sleeps the entire day and doesn't move until lights out. Today he is restless. Moving all about like he cannot get comfortable. Not even in either of his normal spots.
He also seems to be breathing heavily and his mouth is open and it looks like he keeps pressing his tongue against the roof of his mouth everytime he breathes.
The only thing I think this could be from is the different shrimp.
Could they be having an adverse effect on him? Strange really. As I watch now, I'm surprised at how hard his breathing is.

Some are coated in chemical preservatives to ensure the food doesnt spoil to quickly in your freezer. Also I cant tell from the picture on my phone but it looks like they might be partially cooked and flash frozen even though it says raw/ready to cook.. I could be completely wrong with that part

The ingredients were minimal.. I think it said shrimp, water, salt. And I looked over the package to see anything about being partially cooked and couldn't find anything Aside from it saying raw.
it does say Individually Quick Frozen. Not exactly sure what that means in terms of quality.
I'm waiting to get home to check on him. Hopefully he's ok, he really seemed to be going through it before.

The past few weeks have been nothing but stress fo me concerning this tank. This hobby can really take a lot out of you, quickly. Trying not to get discouraged. Lately I feel like I'm just on a downward spiral with it.
