nylon screws locally?

Hi:

Does anyone know where I can pick up nylon screws locally? I'm in the NW burbs. The screws on my big PowerPro SS skimmer are beginning to fail. 2 have gone bad. I scavenged from the lid of the collection cup, but am worried about the next time I disassemble the beast all the way down to clean the Beckets.

Did you try Hardware stores or Home Depot? I don't know what size you need, but I once bought some nylon screws at HD to mount some sps frags.

lowes - I bought nylon screws there a couple weeks ago - They're in the nuts and bolts section in little drawers beneath the hanging packages

Most hardware stores will carry them or if not hobby shops, especially radio control shops. They are pretty common.

I knew about mcmastercarr. I've used them for acrylic and WeldOn to build my current sump, but what a pain just for some screws. I guess they are good for a fall back. I didn't want to spend 2 hours picking them up.

I'll circle back to HD. I munged around there in the past, but didn't get anywhere. I didn't think of Lowes. My local Ace and Menards was a bust too.

Home Depot in the city has them. Pretty good selection of sizes.
