Has anyone purchased a Seahorse from Nyseahorse.com? I am looking for 4 H. Erectus and they have them on sale but I wouldn't buy from anyone without a good recommendation from someone.

I haven't heard any negative feedback on his seahorses. They are gorgeous seahorses based on the pictures I"ve seen from hobbyists who have purchased them.

Keep in mind though, they are northern Erectus. Meaning, their fry are palegic and are much more difficult to raise than southern Erectus fry which hitch at birth.

I bought a pair months ago when they were not on sale and I'm very happy with them. They are very active and healthy. I easily trained them to eat from an abalone shell with Hikari frozen mysis. Several people have bought from NYseahorse and posted pics on seahorse.org forum if you want to look up some pics and reviews.

its great to see the avalibility of captive bred seahorses in your area ,in South Africa we have been very shelterd as far as the avalibility of captive specimens is concerned
