o/t FREE HP lazer printer

I have a HP 6P im going to get rid of. It works fine however it has a problem pulling up paper and form what i been told its some kinda rubber roller that needs to be replaced. I dont know if anyone is in need of one so i thought i post here before it goes in the trash.

6P? Pretty easy to work on. New roller and paper lift (also rubber/cork) needed. Probably in abundance on ebay.

If the pickup roller itself is worn or old (the rubber will be hard and/or smooth) and there is no error code (which would indicate a different problem), a pickup roller is $20-30. The whole assembly is about $50. Well worth repairing!

I didnt consider fixing it because i thought it was a hassel. I already offered it up here on RC and i like to try to keep my word even though it isnt worth much. I dont like to say yeah here ya go and then change my mind. I think the person that im giving the printer to gave me a free milli frag a while back so in reality its good carma for him!
